A free introduction to a new neurodiversity teaching tool, for educators and primary schools - resource details and extended Q&A session
About this event
The Learning About Neurodiversity at School (LEANS) resource pack is a new tool for primary classes (P5-P7) to introduce neurodiversity, and help them talk about how it affects school experiences and daily life.
This launch gives the who, what, when, where and why of the LEANS resources, and places them in a larger context of why teaching neurodiversity is beneficial and important. This event is focused on information for educators and schools who are interested in delivering this resource or interested in neurodiversity more broadly, but is open to everyone. The event will be recorded.
The launch includes 60 minutes overview content from LEANS educators and researchers, and incorporates extended time for questions and discussion (30 min). Details are provided below.
The LEANS resource pack will be released for free, worldwide in June 2022—stay tuned for details!
