Crusade in Europe: The 'Home Front' of Holy War in the Twelfth and Thirteenth Centuries

This is the third and final public lecture to be held at the Museum of the Order of St John as part of the Bearers of the Cross project at the University of Birmingham.
5:00–6:30pm Drop in to the Museum any time after 5:00pm for a chance to explore the galleries after hours, and to join a guided tour of the priory church and medieval crypt. Tours will leave the museum at 5.20pm, 5.40pm and 6pm.
6:30–7:30pm Dr William Purkis of the University of Birmingham will give a lecture entitled 'Crusade in Europe: The "Home Front" of Holy War in the Twelfth and Thirteenth Centuries'
