This event is part of Hate Crime Awareness Week 2019


This lively session will introduce criminal legislation relating to specifically race ‘hate crime’, and how to recognise and address these. It will also include academic perspectives on the impact on ‘hate crime’ on victims and their communities. We are fortunate to have several first-person testimonies on the experience of hate crimes involving race, LGBT, and disability. There will be time for questions and discussions.

Programme:
