Description

We are delighted to welcome skeleton racer Lizzy Yarnold MBE, the most successful British Winter Olympian and most successful Olympic skeleton athlete of all time, to the University of Gloucestershire for 'An Audience With...'

Lizzy, who graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with a BSc in Geography and Sport and Exercises Sciences, became Britain's most decorated Winter Olympian in PyenongChang in February.

She first received a university sports scholarship in 2007 as an athlete, but took up skeleton while studying at the University of Gloucestershire. Lizzy received an Honorary Doctorate from the university in 2014.

She will join Head of the Media School, Anne Dawson, on the sofa for an evening of conversation, followed by questions from the audience.

Refreshments (tea and coffee) will be available from 5pm, and the event will start at 6pm.

Missed out on tickets? Don’t panic! You can still join Lizzy Yarnold in conversation with Anne Dawson. This event will be live streamed online by students from the School of Media.

You can watch from 18:00GMT at: [Link will be available shortly]
