Public Meeting: We need safer, cleaner, greener streets
Event Information
Description
Please register to join our online public meeting on creating safer, cleaner, greener streets! Once registered, you'll receive a link via email so you can join the call on Thursday.
What's this about?
Focusing on the triangle of streets between Cowley Road and Iffley Road, we have been looking into ways to making the area safer and cleaner.
Imagine if there were fewer rat-running cars and better air quality. Imagine if more people were able to walk, cycle and access public transport, rather than being reliant on cars. Imagine if people were supported to use local shops more - the backbone of our community.
Over the last few months, we've been working with a transport planner involved in a pioneering London project and created a draft plan for how we could make major improvements in this area.
What's happening?
On Thursday, 26 March, at 7.30pm, we'll be hosting an online public meeting in which you can hear about the early plans. If you live in the area, please sign up and join us. We'd really value hearing whether or not you think these plans should be pursued further.
How do I join?
Please register here to receive an email that will give you a link and instructions on how to join our short online meeting this week, and join us then to find out more! We will be using Zoom for this meeting, and you'll be able to join via desktop or mobile.
Hope to see you on Thursday!
