Public Policy Group
Speaker: Ben Willmott, Head of Public Policy CIPD
CIPD Manchester holds regular meetings for HR professionals to explore matters of government policy and other public policy developments that impact on HR. We are always keen for new people to join us. This meeting is an excellent opportunity to find out about CIPD’s work nationally over the last year on issues such as Trade Union legislation, equalities, Brexit, apprenticeships and broader economic policy. Ben will be sharing with us what he and his colleagues have been working on and what issues are likely to be key in the coming months.
This is a good opportunity to get ahead of the game with current developments, ask questions and also share with Ben what the important issues are that HR professionals are working on in the Manchester area. You will also get the chance to talk with fellow HR people working locally.
These meetings are held under Chatham House rules so that members can feel free to express their views.
Cake, tea & coffee will be available.
