Public Speaking and Presentation Skills Monthly Masterclasses
Thu 13 July 2017, 18:00 – 20:00 BST
Are you ready to take your public speaking to the next level in 2017?
Are you okay at public speaking but know you could be better?
Is your anxiety about public speaking holding you back in your professional or personal life?
Do you have a pitch or presentation coming up and need some practice and constructive 1-1 and group feedback in a supportive environment?
Public speaking is a crucial skill in business and the great news is that everyone can learn to do it well; however, you can't get better without practice! If a public speaking group, training course or 1-1 coaching are not for you, our new Public Speaking and Presentation Skills Monthly Masterclasses could be just the ticket.
This series of 2 hour monthly sessions will focus on enhancing your current skills and give you the opportunity to learn new techniques on specific topics each month. Plus bring along your 5-10 minute* speech, presentation or pitch** for the opportunity to deliver it to the group in a supportive and encouraging environment. Learn from observing, analysing and providing constructive feedback to others as well as from the 1-1 feedback and coaching provided by the experienced facilitators.
The sessions are offered on a drop in basis so feel free to book into single sessions or the whole series!
*Depending on numbers, there may be time for longer presentations; please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to practice a longer speech. Practicing your shorter 'elevator' pitch is encouraged too.
**Please note that you don't have to present anything; however, the sessions are designed to provide the space to practice - remember, you can't get better at public speaking if you don't do it!
