About this event
London Met PGR Training 2021-22
Presenting to an audience, either online or in person, can be a daunting prospect, and requires specific skills in order to be successful.
This session will help you build your presentation skills based on your strengths and weaknesses as you will be asked to reflect on your own presentation style.
You will also understand how you can sharpen and improve your public speaking and pitch to whomever your audience may be, specifically through improvisation and storytelling.
Finally, you will learn what to do when things go wrong and will learn how to tackle difficult and controversial questions as well as how to manage challenging audience behaviour.
Session lead: Dr Una Fairbrother, Head of Reearcher Development and Acting Head of Graduate School
