Do you want to increase your confidence in giving talks?

Do you want to gain more skills in sharing your science with a public audience?

This session will cover the fundamental principles of public speaking through a mixture of presentation, discussion, demonstration and skills development exercises. All advice is underpinned by well-founded and respected research and all references will be provided.There will be a further three sessions on public speaking in 2020, which will build upon the skills learnt in this first session. You will have the opportunity to discuss and influence the topics for these further sessions. Those who attended the first session will be given priority places at these additional sessions.

Lunch will be provided.

These courses will be run by Eloquential, an organisation that specialises in the art and science of effective communication.
