Through Time and Space: 350 Years of the Royal Observatory Greenwich

2025 marks the 350th anniversary of the founding of the Royal Observatory Greenwich. In that time, the stars above our heads haven’t changed, but what we know about them certainly has. This talk will explore the history of the Royal Observatory, the work of the Astronomers Royal, and how our knowledge of the night sky has evolved over the last three centuries.

Speaker: Catherine Muller, Astronomy Education Officer at the Royal Observatory Greenwich
