The IEEE, in partnership with the University of Manchester, is hosting a 'Publishing with IEEE' Workshop at the University on Friday 12th May 2017.

IEEE is the world's largest professional association for the advancement of technology and publishes a third of the world's technical literature in electrical engineering, electronics and computer science.

This practical workshop, aimed at new and early career researchers and postgrads in engineering, computing, medical and technology related areas, will provide an overview of publishing with the IEEE.

Both the IEEE and the University of Manchester would be delighted if you could join us for this practical workshop.

About Paul Henriques, IEEE

Paul is the IEEE Client Services Manager for Europe and Africa. Paul works closely with universities to provide training for the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, IEEE publishing sessions for new and early career researchers as well as Prior art (patent) searching with IEEE Xplore sessions. In additional, Paul provides support to organisations with IEEE subscriptions to help raise awareness of IEEE at their locations as well as increase usage. Paul previously worked as a patent searcher for the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) where he focused on prior art searching for patent examiners.
