Pubs and Pirates - Wapping and Limehouse Walk
By Walking-London
Multiple dates
Overview
Discover the darker side of London life in the 18th and 19th centuries as we revisit the haunts of footpads, muggers and pirates.
By the 19th century London had become the most important trading city in the world. Everything imaginable was imported - spices, tea, furs, carpets and the storage facilities were vast.
Much of this walk is along the Thames Path and for large sections away from traffic and noise. Discover a part of London less frequently visited by tourists.
