Description

South Stack Cliffs, on the most north westerly tip of Wales is wild! This wonderful RSPB reserve is made up of heathland and farmland set on a stretch of dramatic sea cliffs which face the islets of South Stack.

Teeming with seabirds, this RSPB guided walk take you to Elin’s Tower, a great look out spot with life-size models of sea life to help you identify wildlife you may see on the walk. From the coast path you’re likely to see puffins, razorbills and guillemots nesting in the cliffs whilst out to sea you may spot seals and dolphins.

  • Distance: 3/4 mile - circular walk

  • Time: 10.15 am meet and register

  • Walking ability: Easy - a short walk on a good path but with a slope down and back up!

  • What to bring: Waterproof/warm clothes, water, sunscreen, binoculars if you have them

  • Amenities: Portaloos and catering van at start and end of walk - come prepared with snacks/drinks

  • Access: Please note this walk is Not Suitable for wheelchairs.

  • Family-friendly - suitable for families with children of all ages

  • Assistance dogs only
