About this event
The first thematic module that we will address as part of the VOICES Community Journey is Authenticity: how can we find and get closer to our authentic self?
The October workshop will be a facilitated interactive session, bringing perspectives from psychological and behavioural science on purpose and authenticity. We will cover areas such as the self-determination theory and purpose from a motivational perspective. We will present case studies to further our understanding of the authentic self and bring self-reflective activities for participants.
As an outcome of this workshop Community Journey participants will get ready to join the upcoming modules, being more aware of their authentic selves.

Organiser of Purpose, Meaning and building a Career: What is Authenticity?
VOICES is a non-profit organisation, envisioning a world with equal representation of women at the workplace. Since 2018, we have been active to provide accessible professional development workshop formats to early-career women around the world. We further create and collate free resources to help early-career women succeed. VOICES further maintains an active community to facilitate the collective sharing of experiences among participants. These workshops offer an opportunity for women to share best practices and learn from each other about ways to sharpen their public engagement skills. VOICES was incubated within the Global Shapers Hubs in Dublin and Cambridge, an initiative from the World Economic Forum.
