Pushing the frontiers of single cell biology
Event Information
Description
Join us for this FREE 1-day workshop to learn about the latest technologies in single cell research!
Meet Dolomite Bio at the Pushing the frontiers of single cell biology workshop in Ipswich on Tuesday 30 July to learn how their latest single cell technology is empowering scientists to customise single cell research to their own specific needs. With the option to customise protocols and reagents on Dolomite Bio’s Nadia Innovate, scientists are able to tailor their research to an unlimited range of projects, applications and cell types.
This workshop is relevant to scientific researchers in the UK who are pushing the frontiers of single cell research in areas such as Multi-omic Single Cell Biology, Non-mammalian Biology, Agricultural Biology, Microbiomics, Metagenomics. For example: “Multi-omic Single Cell Biology” is an approach in which scientists are able to simultaneously profile different aspects of the cell. “Single-cell RNA and Immunodetection” (RAID) is an approach which allows proteomic profiling to be done alongside transcriptomic profiling.
This workshop is an opportunity to encourage approaches like the above by demonstrating
-
how to seamlessly optimise protocols and develop new applications with the Nadia Innovate;
-
how you can customise a range of parameters for your single cell experiments

This event is the first hothouse event to be hosted by EIRA with the support of its partner BT.
BT’s hothouse events have been helping business achieve their potential since 2004. They bring people together to discuss and overcome common challenges and identify opportunities. This gives them the chance to collaborate, debate and develop their ideas.
Teams of people with different skills and knowledge compete to produce the best solutions to particular business problems over the course of a few days. A panel of expert judges interrogate the teams and give feedback.
BT's customers find hothousing to be a brilliant way of accelerating innovation. In fact, it has revolutionised the way in which we progress our projects and meet customer needs. In a number of cases we have seen a 75% improvement in new product (concept to market) delivery time.
