About this event

Featuring Virtual Reality headsets, Putting on a Progress: 1558 will transport you back in time to discover how and why, in the summer of 1558, Queen Elizabeth I travelled from London through East Anglia to Norwich. Join us for one of the hour-long sessions and discover if you have what it takes to join the progress as one of Walsingham’s ‘Watchers’, the MI5 of the Elizabethan era.

Up to five people per VR set experience.

Children should be 12+ and accompanied by an adult.

Children 7+ can participate at accompanying adult's discretion.

This free event will take place in person at the Vernon Castle Room, Norfolk Heritage Centre (on the second floor of the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library).
