Putting the Children's Homes Quality Standards into Practice.
The Children’s Homes Quality Standards was incorporated into legislation in 2015 and radically changed the way care is provided and measured. All managers and staff working in children’s homes are required to have a good understanding of this and ensure that whatever their role, they contribute to children receiving high quality care.
Learning Outcomes:
This workshop is designed to provide staff with a clear understanding of:
- The Children’s Homes Quality Standards,
- How to apply these requirements into day to day practice
- How it links with the Ofsted framework
- How to keep children at the centre of your practice
- How to evaluate your practice and evidence the quality
- How to achieve and maintain outstanding care
- How to evaluate and improve your personal effectiveness
Participants need access to a laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone and a quiet and private space to join from.
Certificate will be provided.
