This online workshop, led by widely selling historical novelist Joanna Courtney will take you through all the basics of writing vivid, believable and engaging historical fiction. Designed as an active, practical and fun session it will guide you through three key areas:
- Turning timelines into plotlines
- Creating of-their-time characters
- Putting them into their era naturally and believably
With additional advice on the essentials of research, plotting and voice, this is the workshop for anyone who wants to put the story into history.
Joanna writes both historical fiction as Joanna Courtney and contemporary fiction as Anna Stuart and Jo Wilde.
