Fringe Flicks: Absurd Performance – Surreal Short Films feat. Hotel Kalura

Liverpool’s underground short film night returns this October with a programme of surreal, absurd, and boundary-pushing cinema.

🎬 Featured short: Hotel Kalura (Sophie Koko Gate, UK)A dazzling animated tale set on the romantic island of Sicily. From the director shortlisted for the 2023 Film London Jarman Award.

✨ The lineup:Alongside Hotel Kalura, experience 12 short films from across the globe — from monster comedies and DIY horror to poetic hauntings and experimental absurdities. Expect work from the UK, US, Iran, Spain, France, Sweden, Estonia, and Ireland.
