PWC R+D Incentives Workshop
Tue 21 March 2017, 12:00 – 14:00 GMT
The UK Government recognises that encouraging innovation is a vital component in a strategy for improving the UK’s productivity, performance and competitiveness. As a result, the research and development (R&D) incentives for both small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) and large companies have been enhanced in recent years to encourage and reward greater innovation in the UK.
This session will therefore aim to answer the following questions:
What is the benefit?
Who can claim?
What is HMRC's definition of R&D?
How do you make a claim?
Our approach/why PwC?
By the end of the session we hope to have given you an insight into the operation of the regime and an understanding of the qualification criteria. We will share with you our practical experiences and provide relevant examples to demonstrate the vast ranges of businesses and activities that have the potential to claim.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions or meet the team 1:1 to follow up.
