Our December 2016 event ‘Selling yourself’ is informal yet structured and includes networking, practical exercises, discussion of the event topic and a guest interview.
Many women of all ages, in all professions and sectors dislike selling themselves and as a result do not get the promotion they deserve, apply for the job they really want and get paid less than men. The skill of selling yourself CAN be mastered to that it feels comfortable.
Samantha Newman is our guest interviewee for this event.

Sam holds down a demanding full-time job as well as being a single parent, juggling business travel, parenting duties and voluntary work seemingly effortlessly! She will be sharing some of the tips about ‘selling yourself’ that have helped her over the years – and pointing out some of her mistakes, in the hope that you can avoid them.’
The event will start with informal networking and a welcome drink. Wine, coffee, tea, soft drinks and nibbles will be served. Guests will receive a goodie bag with useful tips and self-reflective questions.
