About this Event

Due to Covid 19 (Coronavirus) we have had to change the way we work to ensure your safety and the safety of our staff. We need to control the number of visitors at any one time and we also need to be able to sanitise wheelbarrows and other high touch areas. With this is mind we require you to book a ticket to attend on a set date at a set time. Your ticket will guarantee you a clean sanitised wheelbarrow and the ability to socially distance as required meeting government guidelines.

PYO Pumpkins is once again opening its gates this October for pumpkin picking fun in the valley at Beluncle Farm, Hoo, Rochester.

We have grown all the usual varieties of pumpkins, squash and gourds, which come in all shapes, sizes and colours. The Pumpkin Store will be open for all your pumpkin carving and decorating accessories. On our website you have the option to pre order and collect instore on the day you visit. When ordering please add which day you are visiting. The online prices are the same as the pop up shop prices. There will be hot drinks, cold drinks, sweets and snacks available subject to government guidance.

You FREE ticket ensures your arrival time. There are 4 half hour slots during each morning (9-11am) and afternoon session (1-3pm). Once you arrive you can stay for as long as you would like for your session.

The morning session arrives 9-11am, and must leave the car park before 1pm and there will be no further entrance to the pumpkin fields after 12pm.

The afternoon session arrives 1-3pm, and must leave the car park before 5pm and there will be no further entrance to the pumpkin field after 3.30pm.

We do check bookings and should we believe a multiple booking has been made over a number of days we reserve the right to cancel any ticket. We also reserve the right to amend, change or cancel any booking or day without prior notification without needing to provide a reason.

  • You arrive at the top farm entrance gate just off the main road, it will be signposted
  • Drive in and follow marshalls instructions to the ticket checkin. Please have the QR code at the bottom of your confirmation email ready to be scanned.
  • Please try to arrive within your allocated half hour time slot and please do not arrive before 9am as it is not safe to stop on the main road which is very busy.
  • Follow the marshalls instructions to park your car and socially distance when getting out of your car.
  • We recommend NOT picking up a wheelbarrow from the car park as it will NOT have been sanitised. There are enough wheelbarrows for all as you have all pre booked.

  • Bring your wheelbarrow of pumpkins to the checkout marquee for a speedy exit, Maximum 15 pumpkins and squash and maximum of 5 of each variety. Maize and Coloured corn will count towards the 15 individual items. All wheelbarrows cannot be overloaded, must be pushable and cannot have any pumpkins or squash falling off or being held.
