PYRAMUS & THISBE By Shakespeare (well, sort of...) In a Pop-up Theatre!

The Duke of Athens wants us to perform a play at his wedding.

The thing is, we haven't quite finished writing it.

Do you remember Pyramus & Thisbe?

The romantic tragedy Bottom & The Rude Mechanicals performed in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM for the Duke of Athens?

In this interactive theatre show, the audience will help The Rude Mechanicals write & stage their own version!!

Combining Shakespeare’s text with brilliant ideas from the audience, adding music, props, puppets, & sounds - the end result will be a completely fabulous play that’s fit for a Duke!

The magic will happen in The Rude Mechanicals' pop-up Theatre in the garden of People's Park Tavern, accessed through the gate on Victoria Park.

All are welcome, but most suitable for ages 5 and up.

Show times will be between 45mins and 1hr.

All children must be accompanied.

Everyone needs a ticket.
