Master the art of woodburning or pyrography on our one day course. Learn from your skilled tutor basic techniques and how to achieve an array of effects on your wood. Whether you are looking for a new hobby or perhaps a woodturner with a burning desire to embellish your work, this course is for you.

What you will learn

Aimed at all levels of ability, your day will take you through an array of basic techniques. You will experiment with different tips and learn how to achieve various lines, textures, shading and colouring on your wood. There will be plenty of inspiration provided, and you are welcome to bring in your own projects and ideas.

Items you take home can change depending on the resources and materials available on the day.

Additional information

You will start your day with a welcome talk, including a hot drink, health and safety brief and a breakdown of the machines you will be using.

No prior experience or knowledge with pyrography is required for this course.
