Why's it called Q Factor?

"Q Factor" is a physics and engineering term that describes how damped an oscillatory system is - our event doesn't resemble the format of a talent show like X Factor - it's just a name for our end of year celebration gig!

Can I bring my flat / housemates?

Sure - just make sure to reserve tickets as required and bring student ID.

Can under 18s attend this event?

Unfortunately, aged under 18 will not be permitted to enter the premises, even if accompanied by an adult. This is due to the venue's health and safety policy - we can only apologise for any disappointment that may be caused.

Can I take photos and videos?

Of course! Please be aware that YSTV are also recording all our sets - if you would prefer not to feature in any captured content, please let a member of the team know on the evening or email engsoc@yusu.org
