The National Institute of Teaching and Education (NITE) is a leading global provider of initial teacher training and postgraduate degrees in education and educational leadership. We aim to set the standard in educational leadership across the world. NITE are proud to be part of Coventry University Group, a global education group whose mission is Creating Better Futures.

Our Level 5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship is a practical, evidence-based course aimed at those who have an interest in further progressing their career as a coach and mentor. It will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills to actively listen, provide feedback and use coaching and mentoring to advance performance.

We offer two pathways. The first is for mentors responsible for developing newly qualified teachers in schools and colleges as part of the Early Career Framework, or trainee teachers undertaking initial teacher training. The second pathway is for those who have the desire to become coaches or are responsible for leading and managing others in organisations. This maybe in a public, charity or private sector setting.

The Apprenticeship Levy can be used to fund your L5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship. So, if you are in England, you could potentially achieve this qualification at no cost to you.
