About this event

Anaphylaxis, a severe, life-threatening allergic reaction, that hospitalises and kills thousands a year.

Would you know what to do if someone suffered an anaphylactic shock?

In this fully accredited course, you will learn about possible triggers of anaphylaxis, to recognise the signs and symptoms of anaphylactic shock and how to treat the casualty. You'll also learn to put the person in the recovery position if needed, to give CPR and use an AED if required. You will practice with (training) adrenaline auto-injectors, so you know how to administer this medication should the need arise.
