Do I need prior knowledge of audio description

No! You don't need prior knowledge or a degree in audio description. You do need strong storytelling skills and a great command of English.

How much does the training course cost?

It's fully funded and free. Travel expenses within London are covered.

Can I apply if I do have audio description experience

Yes. If you're currently an audio describer who works in film, gaming, TV or heritage then you can apply

Do I need to have worked in theatre?

You need to be passionate about theatre and have watched live plays but you do not need to have been employed in the sector
