The Heart Failure Academy, funded by NHS England, is a collaboration across all three Yorkshire and Humber Integrated Care Boards, Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber and Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, working with Pumping Marvellous.
Our aim is to support healthcare professionals to develop an awareness of the signs and symptoms of heart failure, enabling a timelier diagnosis, swift escalation to the right treatment at the right time, and ultimately provide better outcomes for people living with heart failure in Yorkshire and the Humber. The Heart Failure Academy’s ‘Navigating the heart failure journey’ map, videos and resources are a great starting point to develop your knowledge.
