About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

As part of Talking Chester, an engaging series of enlightening talks, exclusive films, and thought-provoking Q&A sessions that bring our city's heritage into sharp focus: join us in the comfort of the Picturehouse screening room for a Q&A with the Chester-based actor, Ian Puleston-Davies.

Ian has appeared in numerous TV and Film Productions over the years, including The Responder (BBC), D.I. Ray (ITVX), Marcella (Netflix) and The One That Got Away (BBC). His stage work includes: A Passionate Woman (Harold Pinter Theatre), Everybody Loves a Winner (Royal Exchange) and She Stoops to Conquer (Bristol Old Vic).

Ian recently wrapped on the upcoming film, Madfabulous. Shot on location in North Wales, it tells the story of the flamboyant 19th-century marquess of Anglesey. Nicknamed the ‘dancing marquess’, his gender-fluid approach to life blazed a trail for future stars of fashion and music, scandalising the community close to his ancestral home of Plas Newydd, Angelsey.
