Qigong (pronounced ‘chee kung ’), is a gentle exercise form that is older than Tai Chi, easier to learn, and is practised to cultivate health in mind, body, and spirit. It is suitable for all fitness levels.

What do I need to bring?

Wear comfortable layers and sturdy shoes. You may want to bring insect repellent, sun protection, a folding chair or mat if needed, and a bottle of water. A notebook is optional if you’d like to reflect or write during the session.

I am a beginner, will I be able to participate?

Absolutely! This event is designed for everyone — no experience is needed. The movements are simple, calming, and taught in a way that’s easy to follow. All are welcome.

What happens if it rains?

This is an outdoor event and will go ahead rain or shine. We’ll adapt as needed and make use of the covered classroom space if the weather is particularly poor.
