QML Connect 2026
Overview
QML Connect is a workshop that brings together researchers in quantum computing and machine learning. As AI and quantum technologies grow rapidly, it is important that our communities share new developments and understand how to support progress in both fields. The event is organised as part of the QML task in the QCi3 Hub and will be hosted by the Sheffield Quantum Centre at The Wave on Wednesday 21 January 2026.
The planned schedule includes talks from leading UK academics and industrial speakers, focusing on hot topics in quantum-enhanced AI, ranging from generative modelling to working with quantum data.
These sessions will be followed by a writathon-style activity, where participants work together to outline challenges, opportunities, and prepare a shared position document on perspective research directions in this emerging area.
