Event description

Description

Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) and the Tower Hamlets Council for Voluntary Service (THCVS) are hosting an opportunity for voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations and QMUL staff and students to meet each other and to explore working together more closely and what this could look like, including how to build links between research and VCS work.
We'll be chatting about areas that connect our communities, and give people an opportunity to find out more about each other over lunch.

If your charity or community organisation would like to find out more about QMUL and opportunities to work with us, make sure you come along!

And if you are a QMUL staff member, researcher or student who would like to find out more about Tower Hamlets and connecting with organisations and local residents around research, teaching and other opportunities, come along!

(Please note that this meet-up is designed for people to be present for the duration)

If you have any questions about the event, or can't attend but are interested in future meet-ups and connections please contact:
Sarah Gifford, Community Engagement Officer, Queen Mary University of London on communityengagement@qmul.ac.uk and/or Elvis Langley, Development Manager, THCVS on elvis.langley@thcvs.org.uk
