Queen Mary University of London will host its Annual Admissions Conference on Tuesday 7th July 2015.
The day is designed to provide teachers’ and advisors’ with the most current information on changes impacting higher education and student recruitment. The day will be particularly interesting as it takes place shortly after the General Election and we are sure there will be new approaches and priorities affecting higher education. Our keynote address will further explore these new priorities.
Workshops will be led by Queen Mary experts and will focus on what admissions tutors look for from their applicants, advice and guidance on perfecting the personal statement and some further insights into how you can further support your students with their applications to university.
The event is an excellent opportunity to:
- Understand key changes affecting students about to enter higher education following a change in Government
- Get a real insight into what admissions tutors for competitive programmes look for in applications
- Learn new approaches to supporting student progression to higher education
This year’s Annual Admissions Conference will take place at our Mile End Campus in the Arts Two Building and the School of Law.
