QMUL Teaching & Learning Conference and Drapers' Lecture 2017
Wednesday, 25 January 2017 from 12:30 to 19:30 (GMT)
Please register here for Queen Mary University of London's 2017 Teaching and Learning Conference and the eleventh Annual Drapers' Lecture. When registering, please indicate whether you wish to come along to one or both of these events.
The Teaching and Learning Conference will feature a plenary lecture from Chris Millward, Director (Policy) at HEFCE, titled 'Higher Education Reform 2.0: Quality, Competition and Choice’, and workshop sessions showcasing examples of best practice in teaching and learning from across QMUL’s three faculties. Workshop sessions will focus on the themes of teaching excellence and internationalisation. Winners of the 2015 Westfield Fund Awards for Enhancing the Student Experience and Drapers’ Fund for Innovation in Teaching will present posters, and delegates will be invited to vote for the poster they find most inspirational for their own work.
The conference will be followed in the evening by the eleventh annual Drapers’ Lecture. We are delighted that Dr Jo Beall, Director Education and Society at the British Council will be joining us to deliver the 2017 lecture, titled 'Intellectual Property: Rights, Risks and Rebellions in International Higher Education'.
Further information about the Conference and the Drapers' Lecture can be found on the CAPD website.
