You are warmly invited to this brand-new series of healing and transformational Chakra Qoya classes, designed to help you rebalance and restore your body, mind and soul over six weeks, with each class tailored to healing your chakra system for optimal wellbeing this autumn.

Led by Emma Seymour, clinical hypnotherapist, transformational life coach and Qoya teacher, this unique course will relax, restore, and revitalise.

The chakras are energy centres, and they form a helpful framework for examining and rebalancing all aspects of your life and wellbeing.

Starting from the base and working our way up towards the crown, the series works through the seven main chakras. Each session will be therapeutic and uplifting.

The focus of each week is on just one chakra (and two in the final week), but you'll be holistically rebalanced in every session.

You are encouraged to commit to the whole course because of the cumulative benefits and added value (see the bonuses!), but you are also welcome to book specific sessions as individual workshops.

Every Wednesday, Emma will guide you to relax deeply while creating the positive changes and outcomes you desire, using a combination of guided meditation, chakra rebalancing, essential oils, sound, breath and mind-body techniques, the wonderful Qoya, and deeply relaxing yoga nidra.

As a special and powerful bonus, you will receive a bespoke chakra rebalancing meditation recording, created especially by Emma in response to your needs and desires, for every session that you book.

Emma’s soothing voice and expertise will guide you to slow down to FEEL, dance to HEAL, and CONNECT to your own creative inspiration.

So, what is Qoya?

Emma says: “Qoya is a movement practice for women, rooted in the wisdom of yoga, the creative expression of dance, and the freedom of feminine movement. We slow down to feel, and we move to remember. The movement and dance are always about feeling good in your body, and never about what it looks like. You don’t need any experience, you were born to do this! Using both movement and stillness, we get out of our busy heads, and drop down into the peaceful wisdom of our bodies, so that you can feel and hear your truth. Through movement, we remember our essence as women, that in our essence we are wise, wild and free.”

You don't need any experience. There are no levels in Qoya and there’s no way to do it wrong. The only way you know it’s right is that it feels good, to YOU.

Who is this for?

All adult women are welcome (over 18s only). Every session is adaptable. If you have any particular needs or questions, contact Emma directly at emma@seymourclinic.com. This course is perfect for you if you’re feeling tired, overwhelmed, stressed, anxious or out of balance in any area of your life. It’s also perfect if you want to invite more joy, love, wellbeing and success into your life. If you’re willing to bring an open mind and open heart, you’ll amaze yourself.


What’s included?

Answer One: If you commit and book the whole course upfront, you’ll receive the following:

  • All six Wednesday morning sessions with Emma (including Qoya, guided meditation, chakra rebalancing etc) for a super value one-off investment

Answer Two: If you book one or more individual classes, you’ll receive the following:

  • The chakra rebalancing class (or classes) that you book (including Qoya, guided meditation, chakra rebalancing etc) at a cost-per-class rate.

  • Bespoke chakra meditation audio recording(s) for each class that you book, created especially by Emma in response to your needs/desires.

  • If you book a class in time, you’ll also receive a discounted rate for Emma’s day retreat on Saturday 5th October. This will be an excellent complement to the six-week course.

What is a chakra? How do I know if my chakras need rebalancing?

The word ‘chakra’ is Sanskrit, and it means wheel, or vortex. The chakras are energy centres located in the body, and together they form an elegant system for understanding our bodies, minds, souls and subtle energy. They offer us an excellent way of assessing our lives and health, and healing our mind-body interactions. Most people would benefit from chakra rebalancing at any given time. It’s almost certain that at least one could do with fine tuning! The chakra system helps us to gain a better understanding of who we are, where we’ve come from, where we’d like to be and what we can do in order to achieve our desires and goals.


I'm new to Qoya, can I find out more?

Yes. Qoya is a movement system based on yoga, meditation, dance and embodied feminine movement. It was created in 2009 by Rochelle Schieck to help us remember that our essence as women is wise, wild and free. Find out more at Qoya.love.


What should I bring to class?

Please bring a yoga mat if you have one and a journal may be useful. Bring a cushion and/or blanket if you have a favourite. Emma will also be providing mats, blankets and all materials, so please feel free to just bring yourself (with warm clothing, as below) and a bottle of water (no single use plastic though please). Everything else will be provided.


What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes suitable for yoga, exercise or dance. Please bring socks and a warm cardigan/shawl/sweater, so that you’re cosy for relaxation. We'll be barefoot during parts of each class.


Where can I park?

There’s plenty of parking at the front and rear of the Retreat.


Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

This course is for adult women (aged 18 and over) only.


I don't want to pay online. Can I book by email and pay cash on the day?

Yes, if you prefer, but please make sure you register your place with Emma so that we can cater for numbers.

What's the refund policy?

Anything else I should know?

Please don't eat a heavy meal within 1-2 hours of class, just as if you were coming to yoga or having a massage. If you're feeling emotional, go easy on the eye make up. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Otherwise, simply come along with an open heart, and prepare to feel amazing!
