Quality, Service Improvement and Redesign (QSIR) is a national programme from NHS Improvement designed to produce grass roots change. The Practitioner programme is a five day course that equips all staff and service users with the skills they need to put their change ideas into practice. The workshop days are fun, interactive, and practical, there are no fees for attending, and the course is worth 35 CPD points.
University Hospitals Dorset & Dorset Healthcare Foundation Trusts have teamed up to deliver this training to the whole community to build links between services and empower people to create change for themselves.
To register for this training you will need to commit to attending all five days to be accredited at the end of the course. It is a requirement of the course to be working on, or about to start a Quality Improvement Project. This is because you will use your own project to work through and practice using the Qi tools taught on the course.
To gain certification at the end of the course and 35 CPD points you will need to have attended all five days in full.
Refreshments will be available from 8:45am with a prompt start at 9am. Please bring your own lunch.
