Let’s listen for bats!

We're very excited to have Wiltshire Bat Group joining us for our annual bat walk around Quakers Walk meadow this year. The event will begin with a short introductory talk at 18:45 from the experts, followed by a tour around the meadow and down to the canal whilst we keep our eyes and ears peeled. We’ll be bringing bat detectors to listen out for the local bat species.

Everyone welcome! Bring your hot chocolate and a torch.

We are asking for a donation of £3 per person to cover the costs of hosting the event. Meeting location: The benches at the top of Quakers Walk Meadow, Devizes. WHAT3WORDS: ///CARROTS.ECOLOGIST.STRAIN

There are no age restrictions to attend this event, but please note that this will be a fully outdoor event at dusk. Children must be supervised at all times. Please dress appropriately for the weather, including flat shoes or wellies for the grass and rough paths.

We suggest parking at Devizes Wharf car park and walking up to meet us via Quakers Walk.

Frequently asked questions
