Qualitative & Quantitative Data Analysis
Overview
A workshop covering data analysis techniques, with the option to take only the morning or afternoon course as required.
Morning: Quantitative Analysis Techniques (half day)
This session is ideal for novice researchers, but has been found to be highly useful as a refresher for practitioners planning to undertake a research project. Depending on the numbers of delegates the trainer can work with the researcher on the types of analysis required for their project. This half day workshop covers:
- Types of data
- Commonly reported statistics
- Data analysis techniques
- Reporting findings
- SPSS databases
Afternoon: Qualitative Analysis Techniques (half day)
Similar to the above, this workshop is ideal for those utilising qualitative analysis techniques for the first time or those who require refresher training or an update of techniques. This half day workshop covers:
- Types of data
- Data analysis techniques
- Reporting findings
This course will be delivered by Dr Lindsey Gilling, Lecturer in Applied Forensic Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University.
