Quality Improvement Skills Training (QIST) Silver IQT Workshop GP

Health Education and Improvement Wales, working in partnership with 1000 Lives Improvement have developed a unique QI Training programmee QI Training programme for both GP in training and trainers, to provide high quality training in the principles of QI and access to QI training resources to support innovation and excellence in healthcare.

This two-day programme includes:

· High quality QI training through the use of interactive workshops on the methodology and framework that underpins Quality Improvement.

· Access to training resources and educational support for the development of innovative QI projects developed by specialty trainees and trainers undertaking their own projects.

Delegates have the opportunity to develop their own QI project as part of the workshop, working in small groups to gain valuable hands-on practical guidance.

Attendance at both days of the workshop and submission of a successfully completed project results in the award of Silver IQT Accreditation.

The workshops are free to attend. Places are limited and early registration is advised.

Bronze IQT Accreditation should be completed via an e-learning package prior to attending the workshop. This can be accessed at http://iqt.pembrokeshire.ac.uk

Registration for the second day for the two-day workshop programme is completed automatically when delegates register for the first workshop.
