Event description

Description

Please note that this event is the new date for the launch that was originally planned for 15 May.

This is the correct page to register for your place at the Quality matters launch event on 12 July.

What is Quality Matters?

Adult social care makes a critically important contribution to people, communities and the economy, but its quality and sustainability is at risk. In response to the challenges faced by the sector, a broad coalition of partners has come together to develop Quality Matters, a commitment that sets out:

• A shared vision of quality in adult social care
• Why the sector and people who use services, their families and carers need to come together to improve quality
• A shared set of priorities to tackle the quality gap in adult social care

This commitment has evolved through roundtable events and co-production with people who use services, their families and carers; providers; staff; commissioners and funders; regulators and other national bodies.

The event

Registration on the day will take place from 1pm and a light lunch available on arrival. The event will commence at 2pm and close at 4pm, with additional refreshments and an opportunity for networking until 5pm.
