About this event

QSIR is a nationally accredited program that is designed to support grass roots change. It provides participants with the know-how to turn their change ideas into practice and is based on a comprehensive curriculum.

It involves a series of workshops, which are delivered online and run at lunchtime over a period of weeks. Participants are encouraged to attend with an idea and apply what they are learning to their change projects as they progress through the course.

  • June 7th: Introductionn to quality improvement
  • June 14th: Project management
  • June 21st: Measurement for improvement
  • June 28th: Sustainability
  • July 5th: Engaging and working with others
  • July 12th: Creativity in Improvement
  • July 19th: Process mapping
  • July 26th: Demand and capacity

In addition to the 'classroom' content, participants will have the opportunity to join coaching-style action learning sets. A session in the second week will explain how to run these, after which participants will be encouraged to create peer support groups.

QSIR is suited to clinical and non-clinical staff, and is open to community and voluntary sector groups as well as those working in health and social care roles. There are no fees, but places are limited so early booking is recommended.
