A 15 day QUALSAFE FREUC 5 course ran in 3 x 5 day blocks which is the follow on course from FREC 3 & 4 for those wishing to become an EMT.

As the next step for those who have completed the QA Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF), this qualification provides Learners with a wider scope of practice in Pre-hospital care emergencies, allowing for greater employment opportunities. It also forms part of a progressive suite of Pre-hospital care qualifications and qualifies you to apply for our Pending Level 6 HCPC approved paramedic programme.
The QA Level 5 Certificate in First Response Emergency & Urgent Care (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised Pre-hospital care qualification specifically designed for those looking to progress their career within the NHS or Independent ambulance services at Emergency Medical Technician level. It is also ideal for those who are looking to work within specialist roles in the military, police and fire services.

The QA Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency and Urgent Care (RQF) has been specifically designed for those looking to further develop their career within the Pre-hospital care sector.
Course Overview
Fulfilling the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level F, this fantastic qualification provides Learners with the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to manage a range of Pre-hospital emergency situations, such as: acute conditions, life-threatening infections, end of life care, childbirth and more.
UNIQUE to Polaris Academy the Trauma Module in week 3 is ran as a 2 day CERTIFIED NAEMT UK 9th edition PHTLS course at no extra cost ran by our Specialist faculty.
Assessment Methods
8 x Practical assessments/Skills tests, 4 x Theory assessments (workbooks), 4 x End of module assessments and 10 x Reflective practice logs.
