A dedicated reflective space for clinical and counselling psychologists in leadership roles, to explore their professional and personal experiences within their work environments.
Purpose:
This group offers a structured yet open environment for psychologists to reflect on systemic and structural work dynamics, process clinical and professional challenges, and examine the interface between personal and professional identities. Discussions may include relationships with leadership, service devleopment, power, position, and privilege, as well as broader academic and clinical understandings. Most importantly, it provides a confidential space for emotional support in navigating the complexities of professional practice.
Structure & Format:
Quarterly Meetings - Held once every three months.
Session Duration - Each session lasts for three hours (x2 eighty minute spaces) to allow for deeper exploration and discussion.
Participant Contributions: - Group members are invited to bring professional situations for discussion, with a maximum of four situations per afternoon. The selection process is determined at the beginning of each meeting based on urgency and willingness to share.
Commitment & Confidentiality: The group operates as a closed space per quarter to ensure continuity, psychological safety, and depth of discussion. Participants are also asked to commit to all three remaining sessions of the year.
Fees & Group Size:
Fee: £360 per year (covering all three, three-hour sessions).
Maximum Participants: Six people per group to maintain a cohesive and intimate environment.
Meeting Details: Sessions take place one afternoon per quarter.
Dates: 06/01/26; 07/04/2026; 07/07/26.
Time: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM (Tuesday Afternoons).
Location: Zoom Meeting Room.
Confidentiality: All discussions and materials arising within this space must be treated with strict clinical confidentiality.
