This event is open to students at the University of Manchester, plus friends and family of the composers and performers involved.

Join us on the 15th April for an online concert featuring newly commissioned solo pieces for members of The Quatuor Danel, the quartet in residence at the University of Manchester. These exciting new pieces were composed by postgraduate composition students as well as a new piece by Camden Reeves, Professor of Music at the University of Manchester.

This online concert will also have a fascinating pre-concert talk with Dr. Roddy Hawkins and the Quatuor Danel. They will be talking about a wide variety of topics relating to contemporary music including discussions around the featured compositions and ideas about collaboration, interpretation of new music and their approach to performing new music.
