Event description

Description

This 3 hour mostly practical training course is aimed at whose who have already grasped the basics of keeping bees and want to learn how to produce their own locally bred queens whilst owning just a couple of hives.

We will show you how you can produce strong healthy queens at little cost, with the minimal equipment and without the need for delicate grafting skills. Learn how to rear your own locally bred queens reducing reliance on foreign imports which risk introducing exotic pests and disease into the UK.
