In the first Queens - Black Hair Rocks! event we shared so much love and adoration for the Queens that have been rocking beautiful black hair creations through the ages!
Queens are you having a bad hair day?
Black women in particular are prone to a type of hair loss called traction alopecia, which is caused by heat, chemicals and tight styles that pull at the hair root, including some braids, dreadlocks, extensions and weaves.
We have pulled together a fantastic panel of experts, that know about Our black hair! So this is your opportunity to get professional answers to questions that you have from experts within the black hair industry!
This weeks session will cover the following:-

Dr Ingrid Wilson, Medical Doctor and Trichologist with a professional background of General Practice and Public Health Medicine.
Ingrid is the Founder and Director of Crewe Hair and Skin Clinic which helps people with hair loss and cosmetic skin concerns including pigmentation, acne, razor bumps, rosacea and wrinkles.
Having had personal experience of hair loss Ingrid is passionate about using both lifestyle and prescribed medicines in an evidence based way.

Paris Reveira - Founder of ‘That Good Hair Company’
Paris is obsessed with natural hair in all forms. Paris started her 'proper' hair journey and blog in January 2018 and after 2.5 years during the pandemic launched her own customisable hair care brand called ‘That Good Hair Company’.
Paris trained to become an organic hair care formulator and fell in love with the science behind our hair and the impact of natural and organic ingredients. Paris is driven to empower men and women with Waves, Curls or Coils to embrace their hair and learn about the ingredients they are putting on their hair.
Sophie K Davis - Natural Hair Vlogger and YouTuber!
Sophie is a Natural Hair Vlogger and YouTuber under the name of Sophie K Davis. Following on from a number of years working in a professional Natural Hair Salon and also taken inspiration from fellow Natural Hair YouTube channels Sophie had her own Natural Hair story to share!
Sophie’s channel touches on her own experience of hair loss through traction alopecia but also scalp psoriasis and severe dry scalp. Sophie will share tools and products used to get her hair back and also show ways on how to brew up quick and easy hair remedies from home using traditional remedies as well as cost effective products in your kitchen cupboard.
