A Platinum Jubilee 3-day event with a festival feel, film screenings and performances of Bromley local talents on stage, open to all ages.

About this event


1. Maximum number of tickets per person 5. Children below 4 years old do not require a ticket.

2. Bag searching is a condition of entry.

3. Ticket holders are not allowed to bring alcohol in the gardens, but they are welcome to bring own water to avoid dehydration. Food and drinks outlets will be operating within the gardens.

4. Access to the event is granted only for the programme & timings as specified on your ticket. After that you will be asked to vacate the gardens promptly for the next group of attendees to enter.

5. Re-entry during the timings of your ticket will be permitted.

6. There may be changes in the programme without prior notice and out of the organisers' control. Updates will be available on the organisers’ websites.

7. Only service dogs allowed in the Queens Gardens (pet owners are kindly requested to clean after their dogs).

8. Rain - The stage will be covered, but not the main guest areas. Please bring rainwear with you.

9. Part of the gardens may include uneven ground. Please take caution and wear suitable shoes.

10. Covid- Event protocols will be subject to government restrictions at the time of event. At this time of ticket sales there are no restrictions. If this changes, ticket holders will be notified of requirements. This will be an outdoor, non-socially distanced event. Ticket holders are kindly advised to respect other people's personal space.

11. No smoking in enclosed areas.

12. Under-16’s must be accompanied by an adult (21+). A maximum of 4 under 16’s per adult is permitted

13. There is a strict zero tolerance policy to drugs and “legal highs”

14. Anyone found in possession of illegal substances or contraband goods will be refused admission, ejected from the entrance and the Police may be informed accordingly

15. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission and confiscate any item which may not be suitable for the event, as well as a danger to others within the event site. See Prohibited Items list below

16. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission for any reason, including but not limited to, visitors being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and/or acting aggressively towards any members of the public or event staff

17. Visitors who damage any structures within the Event site will be held responsible for that damage and the Organisers may take legal actions against the Visitor if needed.

18. To ensure that the Queens Gardens Platinum Jubilee Celebrations stays a safe family event, the following items are not permitted to be brought on site. Any person found in possession of any of these items will be asked to dispose of them on entry or they will be confiscated by a member of the security team. Possession of illegal items will be handed over to the police and dealt with accordingly.

o Any other articles that may be a danger to the public or cause nuisance – this is at the discretion of event security.

Bromley Council, in Partnership with Your Bromley, are celebrating the Platinum Jubilee with an exciting programme of open-air movies over three days and live concerts on Friday and Saturday evening featuring amazing local talents of all ages. They will be performing a wide range of acts inspired by royal and Commonwealth themes, some of them will artistically highlight the seven decades of the Queen’s reign.

Groups who will be performing will include Magpie Dance, Bromley Vocal School, Skylark School of Dance and Spotlights Theatre. More names will be added as acts are confirmed. The Queens Gardens Jubilee Celebrations will culminate on Saturday evening with the broadcast of the national Party at the Palace event!

Seven different films will be screened over Thursday, Friday & Saturday, each with a royal link or connection. Children’s animated films will be shown each morning with family favourites screened in the afternoons and The People’s Choice voted film on Thursday evening. There will be two concert sessions, one on Friday evening and one on Saturday evening. Please consult timings below and book your tickets for the session you are interested in well in advance.

Bring your picnic blanket and come along to sing, dance, enjoy music, theatre, films and much more. This is a family friendly event, open to all ages. Drinks and food outlets will be operating within the gardens.

Deckchair hire is available for the film screenings only in return for a £10 donation to charity. All proceeds will be donated to the DEC Ukraine Disaster Relief Fund. Advance booking recommended.
