This workshop is for all queer people who wish to build a connection with their bodies and explore movement somatically. Rather focusing on how our movements look, we will facilitate how to feel our movements from the inside out.

This space will be trauma-informed practice through grounding and other embodiment explorations to nurture the relationship between our physical, emotional selves, as well as in community.

This workshop will be led by Jenni, a queer movement psychotherapist and yoga teacher. Although Jenni is a registered therapist, this embodiment workshop offers a creative and community group, rather than clinical psychotherapy.

The workshop will run for 90 minutes, and we will have the opportunity for talking and creative exploration alongside moving together.

Who we welcome

All LGBTQ+ people aged 16+ in Edinburgh are welcome to join us.

We welcome the entire diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community including non-binary, queer, intersex, asexual people and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.

We also welcome people who are questioning/exploring their sexual orientation/gender identity, or who do not use labels for either.

Spaces are limited to 15 people so we need you to register in advance.
