We're of to Wales!
We'll be staying at Caerhafod Lodge in Pembrokeshire for some coastal walks, cute villages and maybe even a boat trip!
It's about a 3 hour drive from Bristol.
We recommend taking Friday afternoon and all day Monday as annual leave for this one.
Cost
All places are full board except for dinner Saturday night, so included you'll have:
Friday: dinner
Saturday: breakfast and lunch
Sunday: breakfast, lunch and dinner
Monday: breakfast and lunch
Low income places
For people who have access to income but it is low and unstable and they sometimes worry about meeting basic needs. These are £55 (+ Eventbrite fees).
There may also be support to help with travel costs or equipment.
Recommended price places
For people who have access to a regular and disposable income, and can afford the recommended ticket price. These are £79 (+Eventbrite fees).
Supporter places
For people who have access to a regular and disposable income and want to contribute towards making the weekender affordable for others and towards QHB wider aims. These are £99 (+Eventbrite fees).
What's the plan?
Friday
5pm: Arrival at Caerhafod Lodge
6pm onwards: Intro and ice breakers, dinner, drinks and games at the hostel
Saturday
8:30am: breakfast
10am: set off on a hike along the coast path. Exact route tbc, but will be around 9-11 miles and should take us about 6 hours including breaks. The coastal path is undulating, rocky terrain.
4pm: Back to bunkhouse
6pm: Optional pub meal in Porthgain
Sunday
9am: Breakfast
10am: Itinerary still being finalised, but we're looking at taking a boat over to Ramsay Island to do a walk and some wildlife spotting (£30 ferry, 4 mile hike). Alternatively a 4/5 mile route on the mainland with some optional free time to book your own kayaking or explore local villages.
5pm: Back to hostel
7pm: dinner and drinks at the hostel
Monday
9am: Breakfast and clean up
10am: Check out and head on hike, route and location tbc but will be 4 miles ish.
1pm: lunch
2pm back to Bristol/free time to explore.

Refunds
We can only offer a refund if someone can take your place, up to two weeks before the event. Other than this, we cannot refund you.
Frequently asked questions
Saturday will be around 5-6 hours. Sunday will be split into 3-4ish hours walks and Monday morning will be 2-3 hours. It will be hilly, with some steep ascents and descents, on possibly muddy paths. We take regular breaks.
We'll provide evening meals on Friday and Sunday. Breakfasts will be help yourselves - cereals, yog, fruit, toast etc. Lunches will be make-your-own sandwiches. We can accommodate vegan, veggie and gluten free. If you have any other dietary requirements you may have to bring your own food.

If someone else can take your place, you can have a full refund minus Eventbrite fees up to two weeks before the trip. Otherwise, we can't refund you. We'll do everything we can to fill your place if you can't make it so we can make the most of this opportunity.
